Obsessee, Editorial Director

  • Oversaw editorial calendar for peer-to-peer programming across Obsessee’s key platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Twitter

  • Refined editorial POV to spotlight first-person stories of self-expression and empowerment from Gen Z influencers, artists, and activists

  • Pushed the boundaries of social media formats (Instagram Stories, Instagram Feed Carousels, Facebook Notes, Snapchat Stories) to develop 360-degree first-person narratives across platforms

Refinery29, Shopping and Market Director

  • Oversaw strategy and editorial calendar for the Shopping section of Refinery29’s Fashion vertical and bi-weekly email, focusing on actionable and service-oriented shoppable features

  • Created an outbound link strategy to grow Refinery29’s affiliate revenue through Skimlinks, specifically prioritizing re-designing and optimizing sales and product review-focused editorial features

  • Worked with Art, Marketing, and Technology teams to A/B test shoppable formats, product design treatments and image types, and headlines to increase click-through to e-commerce sites

  • Approved all products featured in Shopping editorials, as well as attended market appointments, New York Fashion Week and trade shows to identify market trends and scout new design talent

Teen Vogue, Online Editorial Director

  • Directed the content calendar and strategic development plan for Teen Vogue’s digital properties, with an emphasis on youth trends and audience growth

  • Increased TeenVogue.com’s audience to reach over 2M unique visitors and 15M page views per a month

  • Supervised the re-launch of TeenVogue.com in August 2012

  • Oversaw TeenVogue.com’s creative direction, spearheading original photos shoots, including room tours, beauty tutorials, and DIYs, scouted subjects, acted as on-set sittings editor, and worked with editors and photographers to select final images

  • Conceptualized and launched the “My Life” vertical, focusing on college life, careers, and relationship content. Worked with fine art galleries, including Canada and Ribordy Contemporary, to secure art to illustrate stories

  • Established and oversaw Teen Vogue’s Fashion Click Blogger Network, showcasing outfit images of 800+ domestic and international up-and-coming and established college-aged and teen personal style bloggers

  • Named 2014 Webby Award Official Honoree in the categories of  “Web: Lifestyle” and “Web: Youth”
